ICARUS

The well known Greek myth tells how Daedalus and his son Icarus were imprisoned on Crete. Daedalus created wings made of feathers and beeswax to escape. He warned Icarus not to fly too low or too high. Icarus, however, ignored this sound advice and flew too close to the sun. As the wax melted, he plummeted to his death.

 This story of courage and hubris, but also of unique creativity and of pushing boundaries to craft something almost impossible, provided the inspiration for this collection. Blending unique, creative designs with technical innovation, Icarus uses materials that have never been incorporated into wallcoverings in this way before.

TERRA

The Terra collection draws on the pure beauty of mosaics, clay and terracotta pottery. The hand-shaped patterns were crafted using lime plaster, imparting rich texture and character. These hand-made designs served as inspiration for a 3D textile wallcovering with a super-soft suede look and feel. The result is a highly realistic representation of weathered rock in which every detail and unevenness is rendered with great precision, adding a sense of warmth and authenticity.

MELAKY

This collection of wallcoverings draws on the diverse nature of Melaky, a region on the island of Madagascar with dry savannah and grasslands as well as dense mangroves. The mulberry tree and raffia, the two materials that inspired this collection, both grow in Madagascar.
